Massage is the practice of applying structured or unstructured pressure, tension, motion, or vibration — manually or with mechanical aids — to the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, joints, lymphatic vessels, organs of the gastrointestinal system to achieve a beneficial response.

Massage can be applied to parts of the body or successively to the whole body, to aid the process of injury healing, relieve psychological stress, manage pain, and improve circulation. Where massage is used for its physiological, mental, and mechanical benefits, it may be termed "therapeutic massage" or manipulative therapy.

Massage certificate IV from Copeland College of Massage Therapy
My exposure to the world of health and alternative therapies began in 1987 when I read "Fit for Life" by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond. It made such an impression on me. It opened my eyes to our body's natural healing powers and alternative nutrition and health practices that we can undertake to promote higher wellbeing.

It was this fascination that led me to study and train in the fields of colon hydrotherapy and massage.

Colon hydrotherapy offers amazing results. Besides cleansing the bowel it leaves you feeling energised and revitalised both mentally and physically. I believe it is an essential tool in regaining and maintaining health and vitality.

Massage is another important therapy when seeking higher health. There is tremendous power in human touch. Massage not only soothes tired muscles and relieves stress, but it allows for the mind and body to reconnect. Massage also plays a major therapeutic role in the treatment of many health problems such as; high blood pressure, disturbed sleep patterns, poor circulation and poor digestion.

I have a massage certificate IV from Copeland College of Massage Therapy and it is my goal to provide you with professional massage therapy that is tailored to your specific needs.

I offer: relaxation, therapeutic and pregnancy massage.

Cert. of Massage, Member of AAMT, Member of International Association for Colon HydroTherapy (I-ACT)
Thirty years of looking after patients gave me direct contact experience.

It was a natural progression ten years ago to become a Colon Hydrotherapist. My initial training was in Texas, USA from a wonderful teacher and after my exams I became a member of I-ACT (International Association for Colon HydroTherapy).

Nutrition is part of my holistic approach to looking after those seeking my advice.

I enjoy the contact with clients and feel elated with the positive results they achieve with my treatment and advice.

To keep-up-to-date, I have taken on a number of courses including a post-graduate course in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine with the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. I also received a certificate from the Copeland College of Massage and I am a member of the AAMT (Australian Association of Massage Therapists).
