Medicinal Herbs

Herbal medicine has been around since prehistoric times. Herbs have been used for their medicinal benefits in Ancient China, Greece, Egypt and India as a means to helping someone overcome a disease.

While conventional medicine isolates just one of the active constituents or ingredient, herbal medicine has multiple ingredients known as phytochemicals. This is why herbal medicine usually has lesser side effects than pharmaceutical drugs. This does not mean that herbs can be used as a sole treatment but a more holistic approach to a disease must be taken.
